Our cellar door sits beside the winery on Omahu Road, Hastings. Every wine we pour comes from our single vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels, so a tasting here is a direct expression of fruit and place.
We keep it relaxed. Our team pours, talks you through how each wine is made, and tailors the tasting to you.
Our Cellar Door is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 4:30 pm; bookings are recommended, particularly on busier days.

Cellar Selection Tasting | $25 per person, 45 mins duration - Let our Cellar Door team guide you through a tasting of five wines, showcasing the diverse range and varietals we produce. Along the way, discover the story of Pask Winery, learn about the Gimblett Gravels and the unique nature of our vineyard, our winemaking philosophy, and gain insight into the techniques that shape every bottle.
Declaration Tasting | $50 per person, 1 hour duration - Our flagship experience. Five wines that define our award-winning Declaration range. Starting with a glass of our Méthode Traditionelle, discover the varietals that thrive in the Gimblett Gravels and experience how old vines, exceptional vintages, and the hands-on craftsmanship of our winemaking team come together to create the wines we proudly declare to be our very best. These are the wines that define Pask.
What to expect - Tastings are guided and unhurried, and no wine jargon is required. We explain how each wine is made and how that shapes what you notice in the glass. From your seat, you can watch the working winery through the windows.
Food to enjoy alongside your tasting
Our onsite brasserie Eleven Thirty Three prepares small plates built around local produce. Order them alongside your tasting, or book a table before or after and stay a while. A tasting followed by lunch turns a visit into an afternoon.
Our place in the Gimblett Gravels
The Gimblett Gravels is a small winegrowing district defined by its soil type. The gravels were exposed when the Ngaruroro River changed course, and they hold the day’s heat into the evening, which is why our reds ripen the way they do.
We planted our first vines on Gimblett Road in 1981, among the first growers in the district. One vineyard gives a very direct correlation between the wine in the glass and the terroir. A tasting is the simplest way to taste that for yourself.
