With our first ever Pask Rose we decided to do something special. This wine was 100% barrel fermented, 50% wild yeast fermented with indigenous yeasts. This delivers a richly textured palate with noticeable concentration and creamy depth. A brilliant raspberry colour leads to inviting aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and redcurrant, layered with hints of rose petal and subtle spice. The palate is dry, vibrant, and creamy, showing wild berry flavours and gentle notes of vanilla and clove. Fresh acidity provides balance, finishing long, elegant and delicious.
Creamy and vibrant, this barrel-fermented Rose pairs beautifully with grilled prawns, salmon or roast chicken, as well as soft cheeses and light charcuterie. It's wild berry fruit and subtle spice also compliment summer salads and elegant berry-led desserts.
